The percentage of mothers who die giving birth under the age of 20 years and over 35 years is 33% of all maternal deaths, so if the family planning program can be implemented well again, it is likely that 33% of maternal deaths can be prevented through contraceptive use (BKKBN, 2017). Aim: This study aims to determine the description of postpartum family planning acceptors in the Sikumana Community Health Center work area, Method: This study uses descriptive research, with cross-sectional methods, this study was conducted in the work area of ​​the sikumana health center, the population in all studies were postpartum mothers (118). childbirth who fulfills the inclusion criteria, namely the mother of delivery assistance at Nakes, postpartum mother day to day> 29 days - 42 days. A number of 54 respondents., Results: Whereas a small number of respondents have become post-natal family planning acceptors at Sikumana Health Center. Postpartum KB acceptors 37.1% (20 people) have become post-natal family planning acceptors, and 62.9% of respondents (34 people) are not KB acceptors. Conclusion: Based on the results of a study of a small number of postpartum women who are acceptors of postpartum birth control, this can affect the low coverage of postpartum family planning services which are likely indirectly as high contributors to AKI.
