The prevalence is 30.7% (12.3% is severe stunting and 18.4% is stunting), and > 40% on school-age children (age 5 – 12 years old). Stunted children have lower academic achievement compared with non-stunted children. Objective: To analyze the relationship between stunting status and cognitive achievement among school children in Kupang. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional study and conducted with 208 children selected from primary school children Grade IV came from 11 schools. Stunting status used Height for age indicator was derived as Z score of WHO. Cognitive achievement data came from the final score of the student in the past 6 months. Hypothesis testing using the Spearman rho test. Result: The prevalence of stunted children was 24,45%. There was a significant correlation between stunting with cognitive achievement among school-age children in Kupang. ER -
