Dental health data in basic health research (Riskesda) 2013 are quite alarming. Some of the data are related to the habit of brushing teeth namely from 835.256 respondents aged ≥ 10 years old only 2.3 % of Indo population brush their teeth after have a breakfast and before going to bed in the night. This matter is very alarming because if the time of brushing teeth is wrong how about the quality of it. Also according to Riskesda 2013, dental damage index (DMFT) of Indonesian is 4,6, which means that every 100 people there are 460 damaged teeth or each indonesian person has 4-5 carious teeth. The aim of this research is to investigate the role of dental hygienists for increasing dental and oral health of students through UKGS Program in Kupang Regency on 2017. The research method that was used in this research is explanatory research method.
