Pollution And Risk Bacteriological Quality Dug Well Water And Spring In The Village Sumlili Kupang District Of 2016
The main problem of water resources which include the quantity and quality of water for domestic use decreases from year to year. The condition of poor clean water facilities can cause clean water to be contaminated with pathogenic bacteria that are a source of disease. This study aims to assess the level of risk of pollution of clean water facilities and examine the bacteriological quality of Coliform bacteria in dug well water and springs used by the people of the District of Sumlili Kupang in 2016. This study was descriptive with a sample of 64 clean water facilities. Data collection method is primary and secondary. The collected data is edited, processed using MS Exel and MS Word programs and presented in table form, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the dug well water facilities had a very high risk of pollution as much as 1 (1.6%) and medium as many as 45 (72.6%). Clean water facilities for 2 springs (100%) have a very high-risk level. The bacteriological quality (Coliform bacteria) in the clean water facilities of the dug wells fulfilled the requirements as many as 22 (35.5%) and did not fulfill the requirements of 40 pieces (64.5%). The bacteriological quality (Coliform bacteria) of clean water facilities for springs is 2 pieces (100%) fulfilling the requirements. Suggestions in this study are to pay attention to the cleanliness of the environment around clean water facilities and repair of construction of clean water facilities.
